Know Affiliate Marketing

Do your Affiliate Marketing Carefully

At this point in time there is not an online entrepreneur left who does not recognize the immense power and promise that the use of an affiliate marketing article offers. Sure, text links and banner ads are great, but when it comes to creating the kind of advertising vehicle that consumers will hold on to and even pass on to others, you cannot beat simple article marketing! Of course, like any other good thing there are pitfalls to avoid.

As a matter of fact, the 10 deadly sins of an affiliate marketing article must be avoided at all cost, lest your company reputation will suffer!

1. Whatever you do with your affiliate marketing article, do not use it to spam a blog or a forum. Some self proclaimed marketers have attempted to use such articles as forum posts and while they might write different introductions for the article to make it look like an ad hoc posting in response to another forum poster, within a few short sentences it becomes painfully obvious that the post is little more than an unwelcome sales pitch.

2. Unless you are a seasoned wordsmith, have your affiliate marketing article ghostwritten. The sheer volume of badly written articles be it diction, grammar, or punctuation is legion and there is little more embarrassing than having your customers point out a number of mistakes and error.

3. Fact-check your articles. This is vital when you use statistical data but also quotes.

4. Keep it pithy. 400 to 500 words are more than sufficient to write a worthwhile piece of non fiction to market your company, good, or service. Exceeding the 800 word count is pushing it.

5. Do not put all of your advertising eggs in one basket but instead commission (if you use a ghostwriter) a number of articles that look at the topic and product form a number of different angles. This puts volume behind your marketing campaign and while one approach may not appeal to your readers, another one might have just the hook you need to get the reader to turn into a buyer.

6. Do not overdo the pitch in your affiliate marketing article. Sure, you want everyone to know that your products and company at the cats meow, but unless you tempter substance with advertising, you will not find too many readers.

7. Advertise one thing only per article. Choose your product, your company, or an email newsletter you are offering for free. Cutting down on the things marketed permit for the development of a great strategy throughout the article.

8. Forgetting to include an opt-in link to your mailing list or email newsletter subscription database is perhaps the most egregious of the 10 deadly sins of an affiliate marketing article. Each article that is not offering that option simply is not working hard enough for you!

9. Having too many articles that differ in tone. While some articles may lend themselves to be spunky but intellectual, the failure to have your article ghostwritten by one writer will lead to a number of different skill levels to craft your work. Instead, request that one freelancer be given the assignment to make sure the tone remains similar.

10. Last but not least, cutting and pasting freely available material from the Internet is a deadly sin that might not get you in trouble, but it will show that your company has nothing new to offer. This is not the impression you want your clientele to have of you, your product, or the company you represent!

E-books Has Many Features

Benefits of E-books

I've been having a look at the new $7 e-book phenomenon. It seems that it's likely to be the new thing in e-books.

At first glance, you must be tempted to think that a $7 e-book can't compete in quality with the more expensive e-books that traditionally sell for $97 or more. That's exactly is what I thought when I first started seeing the $7 e-book offers. I figured they were just some sloppy, thrown together junk that wasn't worth anything - a total waste of time and money. After all, how could a $7 e-book compare in quality to another e-book selling for ten times that price?

Well, I'm happy to say that I was wrong about the $7 e-books. I've purchased several of them and the quality is great. Now actually I prefer the $7 e-books to the more expensive counterparts. Here's why - the $7 e-books don't beat around the bush, they get right to the heart of the matter. They'll give you 20 or 30 pages instead of 200 pages like the expensive e-books, but every one of those pages has valuable information. With the expensive e-books, you'll probably get 200 or more pages, but in reality, only 20 or 30 of those pages contain useful information.

When it comes right down to it, which one would you rather do - spend $7 and get 20 pages of highly useful info, or spend $97 to get the same info mixed in with 200 pages of fluff? Which choice will save you money? Which choice will save you time? I think we both know the answer to that question.

I've become so captivated with the value provided by the various $7 e-books that I've purchased several of them. I have to say, they've been some of the best e-books I've ever read.

The only problem I see with the $7 e-books is that they're relatively difficult to find. In many cases, you won't find them unless you accidentally stumble across them. You see, the whole $7 e-book idea is a fairly new concept, so there really hasn't been any sort of repository where you can select from numerous $7 e-books covering a wide range of topics.

But that's changed now. I'm so much thrilled as I have been able to buy high quality e-books for just $7, instead of nearly a hundred dollars, that I've searched all over the internet to find these jewels. I've now found quite a collection and I've listed them all in one place to make it easy for people to see what's available.

Why People Don't Use Article Marketing

Secrets of Article Marketing

With all of the benefits involved with article marketing it might seem surprising to learn that some marketers out there do not like using it as part of their advertising efforts. When researching this I came across some interesting reasons.

First reason. They don't believe in it. I list this first to address the issue of marketer who simply did like to do it or didn't get the results they thought they should have.

One of the most important aspects of this type of advertising effort is to realize that it takes quality articles to attract attention. Often times, articles that read like sales copy is simply ignored by the reader, if they are published in article directories at all.

In other cases, the article may have been poorly written or made no sense to the reader. Or the information was simply not in demand. One of the best possible solutions is to hire a ghost writer to write the articles. This can be an extremely cost effective way to get quality material on almost any subject.

The Second Reason. They don't like to write. A lot of people suffer from this condition. Would you believe that some of the most prolific and successful writers today have this problem? They might even state this openly.

There are numerous ways to write articles without it becoming a chore. You can brainstorm ideas on paper and pick the best ideas. In some cases, this can led to not only one or two articles but a whole lot of them.

One thing I would not recommend doing is copying someone else's work and calling it your own. Doing that will get your site penalized in the search engines which can be costly. Remember that content is king and original content rules.

As mentioned above, you can hire a ghost writer to work for you, or nowadays, you purchase software that can help you generate articles in a short amount of time. It may require some time to learn how to use the software, but it can make the job so much easier.

The third reason is related to speed. For some odd reason, people tend to expect overnight results. Unlike other types of advertising efforts, like e-mail promotions, article marketing takes time to produce measurable results. The more articles written, the better the possible exposure.

One other point to mention is that, unlike e-mail marketing, there are no risks involved writing good quality articles. The upside here is that they can build your reputation. That also plays a key role in article marketing.

It is the viral effect that makes this type of promotions so effective, but it takes time. This viral effect can also help with search engine rankings depending on how keyword rich the articles are as articles tend to show up on search results more than the webpage they are linked to.

Promoting your website

Promoting your website on the Internet used to be all about marketing by email.

This was a very cost effective promotional medium and reigned supreme for many years. But as things and people progressed it was pushed beyond its useful boundaries and the result was spam. In fact it rose to such an extent that ruling bodies around the globe actually passed legislation outlawing many forms of email marketing and the businesses behind it. In so much as they almost killed it off completely. After email marketing we had adwords and various other pay per click systems. For more resources like to visit at www.guardadsense.com. No doubt very effective at first. Paid advertising campaigns can get very costly. Certainly you get visits and the method can work very well but its nowhere near perfect. Pay per click advertising can quite easily cost you far more than you can possibly make if the business or the ebook you are advertising costs a relatively small amount. Even more so when we see top keyword bids going beyond the one hundred dollar mark per click. Then we witnessed the birth of list compiling and permission based emailing and each website you go to require your email address before you can look at what they have to offer. After which you get bombarded with emails advertising everything from penis enlargement to scams. This is no more than a new method of email spam but it's permission based. Hence the term op tin. Excellent if your website is built in a way as to capture or copy personal information from the surfers and you've got hardcore porn to promote but you have to get the surfers first or you won't enrole them to receive your product. So how do we do this without using spam ,adwords or the latest advertising wave adsense. What we all need is to get your website viewed. Either by using the systems outlined prior or perhaps with SEO. Search Engine Optimization isn't a viable choice for most people purely because it has become blatantly obvious that the quickest way to push your site into the top search engine results is to chuck unlimited quantities of money at it to bring in the all important links. As for links. Not so far back when it was universally accepted that arranging reciprocal links with sites which complimented yours was the way forward, but recently with the growth of adsense this is being cast aside also. Adsense is just another method of adwords only now instead of just finding it on the side of your Google search you find it on virtually every website you visit. This isn't economical promoting due to the connection to adwords so where does that leave us and what does the future hold. The Internet is renowned for its inventive approach to any and all obstacles that are placed in its way and promoting your site without breaking the bank is just another minor gliche. Now we witness the rise of the Search Sub Engine a fresh innovation that’s poised to move free business advertising online to a higher. Using the Search Sub Engine you can list your affiliate scheme for weeks for free and as this new system grows it will no doubt nibble away at the promotional business currently dominated by the search engines. You can also log on to http://www.mginternetsolutions.com. Search Sub Engines promise to be adsense free and external advertisement free which will not put any diversions under the noses of the surfer. This should get them directly to your business without any diversions. Search Sub Engines also move your listing to enable everyone to have the chance to reach that all important top result and pull in those profits which appears to be far more than we have been offered in the past. Seems like a great idea along with a fantastic way to advertise for free and so not breaking the bank. Here's hoping it succeeds and if it does, that they don't go down the same road as all the others by becoming greedy.

Profit From Free E-books

Profit From Free E-books through EBook Marketing

You can Profit From Free E-books through EBook Marketing
It might seem a little strange that someone would put their time and effort into creating a quality product and then just give it away for nothing. But there is an excellent reason for marketing this way.You see, those free e-books will generate sales and leads for years to come, all on the backend.
What is the purpose of a free ebook? The purpose of a free ebook is to drive traffic to a website that will result in sales, subscribers, adsense clicks or any other goal you may want to achieve. The main purpose for a free ebook is to presell/generate leads for a paid product, you would presell by explaining advantages and benefits subtly in the ebook and generate leads by providing links within it.
How do I create one? let's say you have a product about gardening that you sell for $47, you could then write a short report that would compliment that product such as a review, a short extract of it, a short report about gardening that would not go into as much detail as your paid product, the point is that it is very relevant to your paid product but does not have as much value, I mean you don't want to give away a free ebook that reveals all the methods contained in your paid one, you just want to generate interest for it.
How do I distribute it? You can distribute a free ebook in a number of ways such as in your signature file at forums, to your email subscribers, free ebook directories, your website, arranging joint ventures with other marketers, there are many different ways to distribute your free ebook, you just have to find where your target audience is and offer them your ebook, most people love to get stuff for free, so you shouldn't have to much trouble trying to get them to take it.
How do I get my ebook to go viral? This is one of the most powerful ways to market online, viral marketing; you want your ebook to spread as far as possible and to reach as many prospects as you can so you should give people a reason to pass your ebook on to others for you.
This can be done by allowing people to "rebrand" your ebook, basically you allow them to replace the links to your products with their affiliate links, and therefore the people who pass on your ebook can actually make money doing so. If people have a good reason to pass your ebook on, then they more than likely will.

Important Two Key Elements In List Building!

One of the most important factors to online success is list building.

No matter what goals you're pursuing with your online activities, building a good healthy contact list is vital for a successful outcome.

List building plays a major role in developing good relationships with your site's customers, clients and visitors. It can be used to get more traffic, leads and sales for your site or business.

For these reasons contact building should be high on your list of priorities when you're marketing or promoting on the web. Fortunately, list building is an easy process that any site or webmaster can quickly set-up as long as you understand two simple, yet well-proven principles of list building.

To be really successful, your list building must incorporate these two key elements. Without these two main ingredients you will probably find building your contact list difficult and slow going. So it is worth your while to fully understand and utilize these two factors in your list building.
Any list should have these two key elements:
1. Value -
It should offer important information, quality content, special deals/discounts, and more importantly, it should offer a valuable relationship or connection to an expert in the subject area of the list.
Subscribers join a list for the benefits it will bring them, whether it is valuable content, special deals or a connection to an expert in their area of interest; your list must have value for the subscribers. They must benefit from joining your list.
If you're building a list, just write down all the benefits someone would receive from joining your site or list.
- receive important information
- get special valuable content
- receive special deals/discounts
- get training videos/workshops
- get timely announcements or news
Make these benefits your main selling points when you're building your list. Don't forget there may also be a psychological reason for joining your list - many people like being part of a group or membership site. Its human nature, we all want to be emotionally involved with certain topics or causes, so don't ignore this aspect when building your list. Everybody likes to feel included - lists can fulfill this emotional need.
Simply give your subscribers something of value and you will build your list quickly and easily.
2. Free
Whatever you offer - make sure it is Free. The quickest way to build any list is to give away free valuable content, information, videos, reports, e-books, auto-format.com discounts, prizes... everybody loves a free gift. Just make them an offer they can't refuse.. Its human nature, we all want to be emotionally involved with certain topics or causes, so don't ignore this aspect when building your list. Everybody likes to feel included - lists can fulfill this emotional need.
Some marketers argue that giving away free items will attract the "wrong kind" of customer or subscriber - people that will never buy anything because they will expect it to be free. But this has more to do with the nature of your gift and the kind of contacts you're building - giving away free buying guides on how to purchase real estate, fast cars, LCD TVs, laptops... will definitely attract the right "buying customer". If you're into selling, you just have to adjust your marketing to incorporate the free element correctly.
Besides, giving away something free is the first step in starting an ongoing relationship with your subscribers. It gets the ball rolling. It is one of the most effective ways to build your list quickly and easily. Just make sure you're giving away something of value to the person receiving it and they will turn to you, time and time again, to find what they're looking for on the web.
